Warranty Repairs

Damaged watch

• As this won't be covered by warranty, you'll need to start a non-warranty repair

Watch is non-operational — possible issues

• A loose screw is stopping operation
• Damage to the balance wheel or escapement
• An issue with the mainspring

Timekeeping is slow / fast — possible causes

• The watch may be magnetised
• The timekeeping may need re-regulating

Watch keeps stopping — possible causes

• Not enough power reserve (wind the crown 20 times to test)
• If automatic, an issue with the auto-mech or winding rotor
• A loose screw is stopping operation

Winding crown - possible issues

• If winding has become more difficult, this could be an issue with reverse wheels or needing lubrication
• If the crown / stem has become detached, it'll need reconnecting
• Note: if the crown stem / crown is missing, don't wear the watch and seal in an air-tight bag to avoid mositure from entering the watch

Dial / hands — possible causes

• If any part has come loose, this is usually a result of damage from impact
• If the hands or dial don’t look right, it could be a water resistance failure

Date function — possible causes

• Possible damage to the date mechanism from incorrect setting

Water resistance — possible issues

• Water / moisture has entered the watch at some point.

We’ll test the water resistance when we receive the watch:

• If WR passes, it could be due to the crown not being correctly set. You could be charged in this event.
• If WR fails, it could be due to either impact or a gasket failure.

Straps — Please read

• Straps have a limited 12-month warranty against manufacturing defects
• Excessive wear and tear is not covered by this warranty
