Inspired by the era of 1969
Influenced by iconic motorsport images from around 46 years ago, Pinion has created a collection of poster images that are used to illustrate the R-1969 limited edition watch, as if it had been released back when its hand wound movement, the Valjoux 7734 had been made.
Revered for its ruggedness and reliability the handwound Valjoux 7734 movement was (and still is) one of the most dependable watch engines of its era. The movements used in the Pinion R1969 production were all made in 1969 but never assembled or put into a watch. That is, until now.
