In the two years since the launch of PINION, the aim has been to design with continuity in mind, so that each individual watch piece together visually as a collection.
Since the first watch (Pictured left: Axis Automatic) Pinion has evolved the designs, but taken key visual elements such as typography, colour, material and shape to develop further watches such as the Pure and R-1969 models (Pictured: middle left and right).
The latest- Axis II (Pictured: far right) is a re-design of the original Axis, but takes its direct reference from the R-1969 and thus completes the picture.
Pinion is not interested in producing one-off random design experiments that don’t reference any of our other models, as we believe this would look disjointed. Instead the aim is to further strengthen Pinion’s visual DNA by designing a consistent look for our future collections.
