The TT Maroon is a 42mm titanium cased watch with dual timezone functionality (GMT) and powered by a Swiss automatic movement.

This watch features a dark red-brown coloured dial, with a contrasting colour scheme for the indexes and applied numerals. The titanium case means it is around 25% lighter than the steel equivalent (Axis II). At the heart of the Pinion TT is a Swiss made automatic movement, ETA 2893-2 that provides reliable and accurate timekeeping.

Titanium case

The TT is housed in a 42mm titanium case, making it the first and only Pinion to feature this. The use of titanium means that the TT is about 25% lighter than the Axis II Steel; however, it is a harder metal, saying it is also more impact resistant.

The titanium watch case features a brushed finish, but given the properties of the metal, this takes on a greyer appearance than if it was in steel, making the watch seem more utilitarian in appearance.

24 Hour time zone

The TT features a second configurable 24-hour time zone. This is often referred to as a ‘GMT’ and is perfect for tracking two timezones simultaneously.

The hour and minute hands indicate the current or ‘local’ time. The blue 24-hour (GMT) hand can then be set, by moving the crown, to a second timezone, making the ability to check both timezones at a glance easy.

Swiss movement

The TT is powered by the renowned Swiss movement, ETA 2893-2, that allows for the two timezones to be displayed.

As a practical automatic winding watch, the TT features a winding rotor, which tops up power to the mechanism when the wearer moves. With the TT, this movement is visible through a glass exhibition case back, and as an extra level of detail the rotor has been decorated and coloured in a blue that matches the 24-hour hand on the front of the dial.
